Understanding the ESG data on my offer
We're the first kitchen company in the world to provide our customers with ESG information on their offer. That means you know how many water bottles were recycled to make your new kitchen. And how many kilos of recycled wood went into it, plus its CO2e footprint.
We're very pleased to be the first kitchen company in the world to provide our customers with ESG data on the kitchen that they're buying.
We did a Lifecycle Analysis of our kitchens during 2024 that provides the backbone of the data that enables us to provide this information.
Every customer offer now includes data on:
- How many kilos of recycled wood were used to make the kitchen
- How many plastic water bottles were recycled to make the foils if the kitchen you've chosen has a foiled front
- The CO2e footprint of the cupboards and fronts
- The CO2e footprint of the worktop you've chosen
This gives you the ability to make an informed choice - some worktops, like stone or stainless steel, may have a high CO2e footprint, but that could be outweighed by how long they last. You'll have the information you need to make the choice that's best for you.
This gives you a great story to tell your friends when you invite them over to see your new kitchen.
