We believe that buying a kitchen should be a great experience from start to finish. You choose how you want your kitchen delivered and installed, depending on how much you want to do yourself. We've got three levels of service - Do It Yourself, Do It the Fun Way and Do It the Easy Way.
Delivery and installation of your new kitchen
Our delivery and installation levels
Do it yourself
Are you good with a screw driver and a level? If so, pick up your kitchen in practical flat packs at your local Kvik store and install it yourself. You control the pace and our easy-to-understand instructions will guide you along the way.
Do it the fun way
This way is for those of you who want to be involved, but maybe the whole job seems a bit daunting. We assemble all the elements for you in our local workshop and you install them yourself. This way, you can do some of the work yourself, but it won't be completely on your shoulders.
Do it the easy way
This solution is for you if you'd like to spend your time doing anything other than installing your new kitchen. We do it all for you: we assemble the elements, deliver them and put them up. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy your brand new kitchen!
Get a new kitchen within 14 days
You will of course want your new kitchen as soon as possible after you order it. As a starting point, we deliver all kitchens within 14 days of placing your order. This is because we have weekly deliveries to all our stores.
However, the delivery time can be longer during peak periods and when there are supply chain disruptions that are beyond our control. Your store will keep you informed of your delivery or any delays.
Delivery of your worktop
Your choice of worktop affects the overall delivery time of your kitchen. We deliver standard worktops within 14 days. Custom-made worktops may take 4 to 6 weeks to arrive, depending on the material and need for customisation.
Your local Kvik store will provide you with information on the delivery of your kitchen, including appliances and worktops, when you order. And keep you updated along the way.
Transport your kitchen yourself
Most of the elements for your kitchen are packed in practical, flat packages. These typically measure 50 X 70 cm and weigh up to 20 kg. That means you could carry the packages yourself, and they could be transported in an ordinary car, possibly with the rear seats folded down.
If the kitchen includes tall cabinets, they come in packages that are about 208 cm long. And then there's the appliances, they can be heavy and bulky. You might need a trailer or to perhaps rent a van. And enlist a few friends to help you with the heavy lifting.
